About Infinity Knits:

Howdy, there! I'm Jennifer, the lone designer/knitter/crafter/web-
designer/shipper behind Infinity Knits (I'm also a librarian, a homeowner, a wife, a dog-lover, a reader, a fan -- of too much stuff to list here --, and a native Austinite).

I've been a crafter my whole life, and I've been knitting since a cold Super Bowl Sunday in a Flint, MI Motel 6 in early 2002. I'd fled my newly-rented house in Detroit, since my new landlord wanted to redo the plumbing. I figured I'd take a little road trip, but I was broke & tired of driving (I'd just driven up from Texas to take a job in Detroit).

So I drove outta town, and when I got tired of driving, I decided I'd cool my heels in Flint for the weekend. I'd been meaning to learn to knit for a while and now that I was finished with school and professionally employed and stuck in Flint, I figured it was a good time. I taught myself out of a book (not wise), and after a day and a half of shedding bitter tears of lonely frustration, I finally ceated a piece of fabric out of yarn and sticks! Woohoo! Go me!

In the intervening years I have learned much. And I have knitted much. I love to design beautiful, useful things that look, feel and perform well. I hope you like what I've made. I also hope that you buy it.
